Cold Reach Outs Are Painstaking 😵 , Unless You Use PhantomBuster 😃

If you have tried reaching out to recruiters via mail or LinkedIn, you would have understood, getting a response from recruiters is like waiting for a text back from your crush - except you're the one who made the first move by sending in your resume. Will they swipe right on your skills and experience? The suspense is real, but hey, at least you're not analyzing read receipts, or are you 😄 ?
Context: There are more than 3.3 million cold reach outs being done on any single day, according to LinkedIn Reports, to just 150K recruiters. That’s whopping 🤯 22 application each recruiter per day! Now you can easily see why most recruiters don’t reply, they are just too busy with applications like yours. Cold reach outs is a game of volume, the response is low, no contentions there, but if your base (Number of reach outs) increases, the number of responses will also increase.
How PhantomBuster can help: PhantomBuster is a no-code, workflow automation tool that helps you autopilot some of the manual boring tasks. It has flows and Phantoms for different purposes that can help you with anything ranging from Email Extractions to Automatic LinkedIn connections!

Use the LinkedIn Search to Lead Outreach Flow to automatically find recruiters, send them personalized connection requests and set up follow ups. Couple this with AI LinkedIn Message Writer, and boom 💥, suddenly you can mass reach out to recruiters and still be personalized.

Spotlight 🔦 : The Morning Context 💡

Academica is great but that’s not enough. You need to be contextually aware of what’s buzzing, not just so that you can flex among your friends but also to hop on and capitalize on some of the things.
The Morning Context: Well, we have always found newsletters to be the best way of inching the global happening. A quick 5 mins read in your inbox and you are all set to start your day, knowing what’s the word around. The Morning Context does it extremely well, especially covering all the startup happenings. No bullshit, no crap, just a succinct does of knowledge in your inbox.
One for everyone: What makes The Morning Context this interesting is that it has sub-niche newsletters for everyone’s interest. Some of the best one includes:
Antiloquy: Antiloquy is a newsletter consecrated to confronting thorny questions in politics, culture, literature and international affairs.
Bookkeeping: Bookkeeping is any amazing read that breaks down every day personal finance into contexts of daily life, making it more senseful to you.
Oversize: Oversize is a fortnightly newsletter on big tech by Abhishek Baxi, covering companies from Amazon Web Services to Oracle to Jio Platforms.
FYI: There are much more niche newsletters that you can explore.

Intern Insider 🎓️: Why not to box yourself in a role

This time, Priyal Agarwal, who’s student at SRCC and has had tremendous journey from being BCG Ideathon Semi-finalist to doing internship in the most aspired “Product” role, joined us to shed light on her experience with internships, the kind of roles that people should look out for and what not to do in your internships.
1. What things came as a shocker to you when you first started your internship?
The most surprising thing for me was the kind of ownership that I was given. I used to get on regular calls with the founder to discuss the work that I needed to deliver and whenever we used to discuss some new strategy, say, related to customer acquisition, he will add a few inputs, if there were any, then he would say that we can discuss with the team tomorrow on how to go ahead with implementing this. The swiftness in experimenting and implementing new ideas, even something that comes from an intern, is something that came as a shocker to me.
2. You have managed to secure internships across variety of profiles, so do you feel it adds value to have experience across diverse roles, before boiling down to something very specific?
Yes, in the start, I have focused towards securing internships in different profiles across domains. There are mainly two reasons for doing so. First, since I am not aware right now where my calling lies, exploring different fields will give me an idea on what is working for me and what isn’t. Secondly, it gives me foundational skills in all the fields. So, down the lane, if and when I try to narrow down to one field, I will be equipped to analyze a problem from different perspectives.
3. How do you think can people make the most use of their internships?
There are two ways in which you can see internships. Some people do it for the sake of doing it and getting a CV pointer. In this situation, they would just complete the task that has been allotted to them. On the other hand, for a person, who is doing this from the perspective of learning will take an extra step and has better opportunity to get more out of that experience. The CV pointer is yours either way, so I would suggest, take up something that genuinely excites you and give your best to it and in turn, you will get the most out of it.
